The Nebraska Coaches Association has released the names of those who have been chosen to compete in the 2020 NCA Girls’ All Star basketball game. Among this year’s selections is Jessie Sallach of South Loup. The South Loup senior was a Class C2 second team all state selection by the Omaha World Herald and has signed a letter of intent to play basketball collegiately for Fort Hays State. Sallach averaged 13.7 points per game this season in helping lead the Lady Bobcats to a district final, the MNAC girls tournament championship, and a 21-3 overall record.
It was announced earlier this year that Broken Bow girls basketball coach Kelly Cooksley will be the head coach of the Red Team.
This years all star game is scheduled for Monday July 20th at Lincoln North Star High School.
