The Broken Bow volleyball team collected its first wins of the season Saturday finishing 2-1 at the Lexington Invite. Broken Bow dropped its opening match of the day to Holdrege but then defeated Lexington and Chase County to win the consolation side of the bracket. Holdrege def. Broken Bow in round one 25-20, 25-19 (2-0), Broken Bow defeated Lexington in the consolation semis 25-18, 25-21 (2-0) and defeated Chase County in the consolation bracket final in a thrilling three set match 24-26, 25-17, 26-24 (2-1).
