The Broken Bow volleyball team improved to 24-4 on the season by winning the Bow Invite on Tuesday. Broken Bow won by straight sets over Valentine 25-7, 25-17. Kya Scott had seven kills in the match and Brianna Quinn, Molly Staples, and Callie White all had 4 kills to lead the Broken Bow offensive attack. The Lady Indians then knocked off Doniphan-Trumbull in straight sets 25-22, 25-13. Kya Scott had 11 kills in the match and Hannah Barker had five kills. Kailyn Scott finished with 20 assists. Broken Bow will play at the Southwest Conference Tournament on Friday. Bow is the top seed and will play Cozad in the opening round at 11 a.m. All Broken Bow matches from the SWC tournament will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com. In matches broadcast on KBBN Tuesday night, SEM went 2-0 at the Arcadia/Loup City triangular. SEM def. Arcadia/Loup City in straight sets 25-9, 25-11 and defeated Twin Loup 2 sets 1. Twin Loup won the first set 25-23 but SEM came back strong to win the 2nd set 25-9 and won the third 25-11. In the other match of the night, Twin Loup defeated ALC in straight sets 25-20, 25-15.
