The Broken Bow volleyball team improved to 7-1 on the season Thursday night with a straight set victory over Lexington by scores of 25-16, 25-12, 25-10. The Lady Indians will be part of a very strong field on Saturday as they participate in the Seward volleyball tournament. The tournament includes 8 teams and will be a pool play format. Broken Bow will open against Omaha Mercy at 10am followed by a match with Omaha Concordia and then a showdown with the Omaha World Herald’s top ranked team in C1 Wahoo. The field also includes undefeated Wayne (rated #2 in C1 by the OWH), Lincoln Lutheran (rated #4 in C1 by the Lincoln Journal Star), Seward (ranked #8 in Class B by the OWH), and Class A South Sioux City.
