The Sandhills/Thedford Knights remained undefeated Friday night with an impressive 55-6 win over Ansley/Litchfield Friday night. Dane Pokorny, Trae Hickman, and Kyle Cox each had two touchdowns to help lead the S/T offensive attack. Cooper Slingsby finished with 87 yards rushing for A/L and Zach Grove had 70 rushing yards and a touchdown for the Spartans. Sandhills/Thedford improves to 6-0 while Ansley/Litchfield falls to 4-2 on the season.
In a battle of unbeatens in Class D1, Burwell knocked off Arcadia/Loup City. Burwell led 28-13 at the half but would outscore ALC 27-0 in the second half for a 55-13 win. The top ranked Longhorns will face another undefeated team next Friday when they go up against 6-0 Anselmo-Merna.
