It is the final week of the regular high school football season. Several teams will be in action tonight. Teams will be fighting for a playoff spot in this final week and others will be looking to solidify their spot in the playoff bracket. The first round of the Class D1, D2 playoffs is scheduled for Thursday, October 31st followed by the opening round for Class A, B, C1, C2, and six man on Friday November 1st. The playoff bracket will be released by the NSAA on Saturday.
The Sandhills/Thedford Knights will look to finish off an undefeated regular season when they travel to Curtis tonight to take on Medicine Valley. This year’s success has generated a lot of excitement for the program and communities. S/T head coach Josh Deines told KCNI/KBBN sports that it would be very special to do something that has never been done in the co-op program.
Tonight’s game between Sandhills/Thedford and Med Valley will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and on kbbn.com. Coverage will begin with Consolidated Companies pregame show at 6pm. Kickoff is scheduled for 7pm
