It is the final night of the high school football regular season. Among the area matchups today : Cozad is on the road against undefeated and top five ranked Adams Central ; Sandhills Valley (McPherson County/Stapleton) will host Wilcox-Hildreth ; Twin Loup will look to improve to 4-4 on the season as they travel to take on 3-4 St. Mary’s in O’Neill.
The KBBN 8 man area game of the week will feature the Anselmo-Merna Coyotes as they host Loomis tonight. AM is just 2-5 this season but have played a difficult schedule and are still right in the playoff hunt. Knowing that a win tonight could put the Coyotes into the playoffs has created a lot of motivation for tonight’s game according to AM head coach Matt McGinn
