The Ansley/Litchfield Spartans advanced to the semifinals of the Fort Kearny Conference Basketball Tournament Tuesday night with a 50-41 win over Amherst in the boys quarterfinals. A/L will take on the top seed Pleasanton in the semis as the Bulldogs rolled over Hi-Line 80-60. The semifinal matchup will take place Friday at 6 p.m. at the Viaero Center in Kearney.
The Broken Bow girls basketball team collected its 18th win of the season Tuesday night scoring a season high 69 points in their 69-45 win over Lexington. Bow had three players finish in double figures led by Kali Staples with 16, Kassidy Cyboron – 12, and Kya Scott – 10.
