High School Basketball Scores 1/14

The Broken Bow girls basketball team picked up its 11th win of the season Friday night with a 65-35 win over Wood River.  Bow outscored the Eagles 21-11 in the 2nd quarter to build a 36-17 halftime lead.  Eight players scored for the Lady Indians.  Broken Bow was led by Kya Scott who had a game high 14 points.  Gaby Staples scored 12 points off the bench and Kailyn Scott finished in double figures with 10.  In the boys game, Wood River pulled away in the 2nd half to secure a 56-38 victory.  Broken Bow’s Keegan Baxter led all scorers with 15 points and Daine Wardyn also finished in double figures for the Indians with 10 points.
