High School Basketball on KBBN – Anselmo-Merna at Sandhills/Thedford

Sandhills/Thedford will host Anselmo-Merna for a girls and boys basketball doubleheader tonight in Dunning. In the girls contest, Sandhills/Thedford has won 4 of their last 5 games and enter the contest with a 6-4 overall record. The Anselmo-Merna girls have won 3 in a row and are now 5-6 overall. In the boys contest, Anselmo-Merna is now 9-2 on the season after winning their last 5 games in a row and are ranked #7 this week in the Omaha World Herald’s Class D1 top ten poll. The Lady Indians enter tonight’s girls contest at 9-3 overall while Kearney Catholic is 7-4 this season. On the boys side, The Indians (8-3) will face a 10-1 Kearney Catholic team who is ranked #8 this week in Omaha World Herald’s Class C1 top ten rankings.
