The 2019-20 high school basketball season tips off today.  Broken Bow will travel to Loup City tonight for a girls and boys doubleheader as they open its season against the Arcadia/Loup City Rebels.  The Broken Bow girls basketball team will return all five starters and the main core of a team that finished 20-6 and made it to the district final a season ago.  The Omaha World Herald has the Lady Indians ranked #4 in Class C1 in its preseason ratings behind Lincoln Christian (#1), North Bend (#2), and Wahoo (#3).  The Arcadia/Loup City girls team will look to improve on last year’s 8-13 overall record.  In the boys game, Broken Bow will look to replace all five starters from last year’s team that finished 15-10 while Arcadia/Loup City seeks improvement on their 8-13 record from a season ago.  Tonight’s games will be broadcast live on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com beginning with the girls varsity game scheduled to tip off at 6pm.
