The Broken Bow boys golf team competed at the Lexington Invitational on Tuesday. Ogallala won the team title with a 334 followed by McCook with a 337. Broken Bow placed 6th on the day with a team total 348 just 4 shots behind the Kearney JV’s for 5th and was just 6 shots out of placing in the top three as GINW placed third with a 342. Broken Bow was led by Austin Harvey who shot a personal best 79 for the 18 hole event. Harvey placed 5th overall in the individual standings. Other scores for Broken Bow included Nathan Reynolds – 87 ; Blake Denson – 88 ; Zack Gaffney 94 ; and Carsten Fox shot a 102. The meet was won by Dylan Dahstedt of the Kearney JV’s who had a low round of 74. Broken Bow will next play in a quad at the Minden Country Club on Thursday.
