Haarberg Commits to Nebraska

Last Monday (5/4) Kearney Catholic high school quarterback Heinrich Haarberg received a scholarship offer by phone from Nebraska football coach Scott Frost and on Saturday (5/9) Haarberg announced that he would play for the Huskers.  The 6’5 185 pound Haarberg threw for over 1800 yards and 23 touchdowns as a junior for the Stars last season.

Haarberg is rated as a three star propect by Rivals and 247 sports.

The Broken Bow football team will get a chance to go up against the Husker recruit as Kearney Catholic is scheduled to host the Indians in week #6 of the high school football season.
