Girls Sub District Basketball Scores – Broken Bow, South Loup, and Anselmo-Merna Advance to District Finals

The Broken Bow girls basketball team will advance to their third straight district final as they held off O’Neill Thursday night 49-44 to win the C1-10 sub district title. Broken Bow had three players finish in double figures led by Kya Scott with 16, Kailyn Scott had 12, and Kali Staples had 11 with 9 of those coming in the second half. Broken Bow improves to 22-1 on the season.

Anselmo-Merna advances to a district final for the second straight season as they defeated Ansley/Litchfield 55-29 to win the D1-10 sub district title. AM is now 17-6 on the season.

South Loup is headed to a district final. The Lady Bobcats won the C2-11 sub district final defeating Perkins County 41-20. With the win, South Loup improves to 18-4.

Mullen won the D2-10 sub district title winning over Arthur County 62-30 improving their overall record to 22-2.

At the D2-8 sub district tournament in Bertrand, Loomis knocked off top seed SEM 54-40.

Gothenburg advances to a district final as they knocked off top seed Chase County 48-40 to win the C1-11 sub district title.
