The Nebraska Schools Activities Association has released the brackets and pairings for girls basketball sub district tournaments which tip off next week.
Broken Bow is the top seed and will host the C1-10 sub district tournament. Broken Bow will play on Tuesday (2/16) at 6 pm against the winner of Monday night’s matchup between Ainsworth and Valentine. O’Neill is the #2 seed in the tournament and will play Ord on Tuesday night. Tuesday’s winners will play for the sub district title on Thursday (2/18). All Broken Bow games from the tournament will be broadcast on KCNI 1280 AM / 96.3 FM and on kcni1280.com
Anselmo-Merna is the top seed in the D1-10 sub district and will host games in Merna. The Lady Coyotes will open against Sandhills Valley on Tuesday. Ansley/Litchfield is the #2 seed and will play Maxwell in the opening round. The winners will play for the sub district title on Thursday (2/18). Tuesday’s games will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and on kbbn.com
South Loup is the top seed in the C2-11 sub district and will host games in Callaway. The Lady Bobcats will open play Tuesday against Hi-Line with the winner advancing to the sub district final where they will play the winner of Sutherland vs Perkins County.
Ravenna is the top seed and will host the C2-9 sub district tournament. Arcadia/Loup City is the #5 seed and will open against Centura on Monday with the winner advancing to play Ravenna on Tuesday. Burwell is the #3 seed and will open against Fullerton on Tuesday.
Mullen is the top seed at the D2-10 sub district tournament and will host games at the Hilltop Gymnasium in Mullen. Mullen will open play on Tuesday as they will play the winner of Monday’s game between Paxton and Hyannis. Sandhills/Thedford is the #3 seed and will open play Tuesday against Arthur County.
SEM is the top seed at the D2-8 sub district tournament which will be played at Bertrand High School. SEM will open play against Brady on Tuesday with the winner to advance to the sub district final where they will play the winner of Loomis vs. Bertrand.
Twin Loup is the #4 seed at the D2-6 sub district and will open play Tuesday against the top seed Chambers Wheeler Central. The winner will advance to the D2-6 sub final to play the winner of St. Mary’s and Stuart.
