Girls Sub District Basketball on KCNI – Broken Bow vs O’Neill

The Broken Bow girls basketball team will face O’Neill tonight for the C1-9 sub district title at Burwell. The winner will advance to the district finals to be played Friday (2/28). Broken Bow is now 22-2 on the season after knocking off Valentine Tuesday in sub district play 46-35. O’Neill is now 17-7 after holding off Ord Tuesday night 45-41 to advance. Tonight’s game is scheduled to tip off at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on KCNI 96.3 FM and knci1280.com

Anselmo-Merna will meet SEM for the D2-7 sub district title tonight in Broken Bow. A-M advanced with a win over Heartland Lutheran Tuesday 45-33 and SEM downed Twin Loup on a buzzer beater 35-32. Tonight’s game will tip off at 7 p.m.

South Loup improved to 20-2 on the season with a 61-20 win over Hi-Line at the C2-11 sub district on Tuesday. The Lady Bobcats will look to advance to the district finals as they face 18-5 Elm Creek tonight. Tip off at Gothenburg is scheduled for 6:30.

Mullen, now 23-1 on the season, will play for the D2-9 sub district title against Arthur County. The game is scheduled to tip off at 6 p.m. mountain time at Paxton high school.

At the C1-11 sub district at North Platte High, Gothenburg will face Chase County for the right to advance to the district finals. Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
