The 2018 NSAA Girls Golf State Championships begin today. Kailey Johnson of Broken Bow will compete at the Class C tournament today at River’s Edge Golf Course in North Platte. Johnson is a 3 year state qualifier and is scheduled to tee off on the front nine at 11:14 this morning. She will be joined in the group by Abigail Cornelius of Cozad and Ashley Waggoner of Kearney Catholic. The state tournament is 36 holes with the opening round today and the final 18 holes will be played tomorrow. The Class A tournament begins today at the Norfolk Country Club and the Class B tournament is taking place at the Quail Run Golf Course in Columbus.
