The Fort Kearny Conference girls and boys basketball tournaments begin on Saturday and run through next week. SEM is the #7 seed in the boys tournament and will play Saturday afternoon against the #10 seed Wilcox-Hildreth at 1 p.m. in Eustis. The winner will advance to play the #2 seed Loomis on Tuesday. Ansley/Litchfield is the #9 seed in the girls tournament and will play the #8 seed Axtell in Eustis on Saturday at 2:30. The winner will advance to play the top seed Pleasanton on Monday.
The SEM girls are the #5 seed in the tournament and will play Overton on Monday in Pleasanton. The Ansley/Litchfield boys are the #5 seed and will play Amherst Tuesday in Pleasanton.
The semifinals will be played on Friday February, 7th and the championship games will take place Saturday, February 8th. The semis and championship games will be played at the Viaero Center in Kearney.
