Fall Sports Preview – Twin Loup Football

The Twin Loup Wolves will look to improve on their season a year ago that saw them finish 1-7.  The Wolves were a very young team a year ago as several experienced their first live action at the varsity level.  Head coach Mike Kozeal visited with KCNI/KBBN sports about the upcoming season.  Kozeal enters his 24th season as a head coach first with the Sargent Bulldogs and now with the co-op Twin Loup.  Twin Loup is still a pretty young team as a whole but coach Kozeal said that coming into the season the team has shown growth and maturity which he felt showed itself at the team camp the players participated in this summer.

This summer was much more “normal” this year as teams went through their off season workouts.  Coach Kozeal said he was pleased with the participation in the summer weight program.

Twin Loup opens its season on the road August 27th when they travel to face North Central.  The Wolves will be featured on KBBN radio September 3rd when they play at Mullen and on September 16th when they play at Sandhills/Thedford.
