The Broken Bow volleyball team qualified for the state tournament Saturday as they claimed the C1-8 district title with a straight set win over Oakland-Craig (25-19, 25-20, 25-23). With the win, Broken Bow improves to 29-4 on the season. Kya Scott had 17 kills in the match while Kassidy Cyboron and Kali Staples each had six to lead the Broken Bow attack. Kailyn Scott finished with 32 assists and Emma Schall had 5 blocks. The Lady Indians will be the #7 seed in Class C1 and will face undefeated St. Paul in their opening tournament match on Wednesday at 2 pm at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln.
Mullen advances to the state tournament by winning the D2-7 district title with a 3 sets to 1 win over Garden County (25-21, 25-19, 16-25, 25-11). Mullen improves to 28-5 overall and will be the #6 seed in the D2 tournament. The Lady Broncos will face undefeated Maywood Hayes Center in the opening round on Thursday with match time scheduled for around 11 am at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

South Loup fell to Howells/Dodge Saturday in the C2-6 district final. Howells/Dodge won in straight sets 25-14, 25-19, 25-20. The Lady Bobcats conclude the season at 22-8.
Anselmo-Merna fell to undefeated Pleasanton in D1-1 district final on Saturday. The Lady Bulldogs won in straight sets 25-19, 25-13, 25-12. AM ends the season at 13-19.
Twin Loup fell to Humphrey St. Francis in the D2-5 district final on Saturday. The Lady Flyers of St. Francis won in straight sets 25-13, 25-15, 25-18. Twin Loup concludes the season at 18-13.
