The Nebraska Schools Activities Association has released some of the district and sub district assignments for cross country, girls golf, and volleyball. The Broken Bow cross country team will compete at the C-5 district meet which will take place at the Crandell Creek golf course in Ogallala on October 15th. The NSAA has not yet released the cross country district assignments for teams competing in Class D.
The Broken Bow girls golf team will compete in the C-4 district tournament which will be played at Indianhead golf course in Grand Island with GICC serving as the host school. Arcadia/Loup City, Cozad, and Gothenburg will also be among the teams competing.
The Broken Bow volleyball team will compete in the C1-10 sub district tournament October 26 and 27. Joining them will be Ainsworth, O’Neill, Ord, and Valentine. Cozad and Gothenburg will be in the C1-11 sub district with Chase County and Hershey. Arcadia/Loup City and Burwell will be in the C2-9 sub district with Centura, Ravenna, and Fullerton. South Loup will be in the C2-11 sub district with Hi-Line, Perkins County, and Sutherland. Anselmo-Merna and Ansley/Litchfield will be in the D1-10 sub district with Sandhills Valley, and Maxwell. Twin Loup will be in the D2-6 sub with Chambers Wheeler Central, St. Mary’s of O’Neill, and Stuart. SEM will be in the D2-8 sub district with Bertrand, Brady, and Loomis. Mullen and Sandhills/Thedford will compete at the D2-10 sub with Arthur County, Hyannis, and Paxton. Sites for sub district tournaments have yet to be determined.
