Twin Loup (Sargent / Loup County) was among the teams that competed in the D2-5 football district this season. The Wolves finished the season at 6-5 falling to Pleasanton in the quarterfinals of the Class D2 state football playoffs. Several of the Twin Loup players were recently honored as members of the D2-5 All-District football team. Senior Colby Coons was a first team offensive selection at running back and punter. Joining Coons on the first team offense was senior Raif Ruppert on the offensive line and senior Bryce Lamb at end. Junior Quade Young was voted to the first team defense at linebacker and Cooper Coons was first team defense at defensive back. Senior Lathyn Collins was second team defense at linebacker and junior Shawn Quandt received second team offense honors on the offensive line. Twin Loup junior Weston Reineke received honorable mention.
