D-4 / C-4 District Wrestling Mullen Qualifies 9 for State / Stieb of ALC Qualifies

Mullen was among the teams that competed at the D4 district wrestling meet in Bridgeport. The Broncos qualified 9 individuals for the state wrestling tournament in Omaha beginning February 17. Mullen was the team runner-up behind Sutherland. The Broncos had 3 district champions including Jeffrey Forsen at 106 lbs., Eli Paxton at 120 lbs., and Isaac Welch at 285. Also qualifying for state were Kyle Durfee (132), Chase Gracey (145), Spencer DeNaeyer (152), Andrew Harvey (160), Sean Simonson (170), and Tel Kvanvig (220).

Chase Stieb will represent Arcadia/Loup City at the state tournament in Omaha. The Rebels competed at the C4 district championships. Stieb won the district title at 170 lbs.
