Cornhusker State Games Enter Final Weekend

The final weekend of competition in the 2018 Cornhusker State Games (CSG) features competition in 28 sports. Saturday, July 28, the final weekend gets into full swing with action in 24 sports. The Games conclude Sunday, July 29 with action in 18 sports. Competition was held the previous two weekends in 44 sports. The current participant count, 10,720, represents an increase of 563 athletes over 2017. Several sports remain open for registration. Those interested can find information or register at CornhuskerStateGames.com. Several from our listening area have already competed in certain events while others are scheduled to compete in events yet to come. The 2018 Cornhusker State Games is a program of the Nebraska Sports Council and a qualifying event for the 2019 State Games of America, which will be help in Lynchburg, VA.
