Classes B and C State Track and Field Championships Begin Today in Omaha

The 2021 state track and field championships continue today at Burke Stadium in Omaha. After classes D and A completed their championships yesterday, it is now time for classes C and B to take center stage. Class C will be up first this morning with field events starting at 9 a.m. followed by running events starting at 10:30 this morning. Class B will take over the track in the mid afternoon with field events starting at 3 p.m. and running events starting at 4:30. Field events that will take place today include the boys high jump, discus, and long jump along with the girls pole vault, shot put, and triple jump.

Central Nebraska’s Sports Source will be live from Omaha today with reports and updates of area athletes competing today. Live reports can be heard hourly on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com beginning at 10 a.m.
