LINCOLN — The Nebraska School Activities Association has moved the Class B boys golf state tournament in May in Columbus from the flood-ravaged Quail Run Golf Course to Elks Country Club northwest of the city.
“We appreciate all parties involved in this decision, including the Elks Country Club, Quail Run Golf Course and the Columbus Convention and Visitors Bureau,” an NSAA press release said. “Their willingness to help the NSAA in providing a championship venue and experience for our student-athletes is greatly appreciated.”
