Central Nebraska’s Sports Source Presents Coverage of High School Basketball

Join Central Nebraska’s Sports Source for live coverage of high school basketball tonight as Sandhills/Thedford will host Anselmo-Merna in Dunning for a girls and boys basketball doubleheader. The Anselmo-Merna girls are 8-3 on the season and are ranked #7 this week in Class D1 by the Omaha World Herald. Jaide Chandler leads the Lady Coyotes in scoring averaging 11.8 points per game. Sandhills/Thedford enters at 4-4. Tenley Rasmussen, Madison Marten, and Dayle Haake are all averaging around 7 points per game to lead the Lady Knights.

The Sandhills/Thedford boys have won three in a row and are now 5-3 on the season while the Anselmo-Merna boys enter with an overall record of 3-8. Dane Pokorny leads Sandhills/Theford in scoring averaging 14 points per game and Dalton Duryea leads AM averaging 13.5 points per game. Tonight’s games will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com. The girls game is scheduled to tip off at 6 p.m. with the boys game to follow.

Broken Bow will dual Gothenburg around 6-6:30 followed by their dual against Valentine.
