Burwell Wins Class D State Wrestling Team Title – Mullen Third – Bow Fourth – Lex Third

The Burwell Longhorns secured the Class D Team Title on Saturday at the NSAA State Wrestling Championships in Omaha. Burwell finished first with 124 points followed by Elkhorn Valley with 88 points and Mullen placed third with 72 points. Broken Bow finished 4th in the Class C team standings. Valentine was the Class C team champions with 160.5 points followed by David City with 127.5 points. Third was Battle Creek with 121.5 points followed by Broken Bow with 114 points. The Class B title was won by Omaha Skutt with 146 points followed by Northwest with 119 points and Lexington came in third with 99 points. The Class A championship was won by Lincoln East with 187 points followed by Kearney with 163 points and Omaha Burke was third with 131.5 points.
