Broken Bow won the team title at the Ord wrestling invitational on Friday. Bow won the meet with 268 points followed by Battle Creek in 2nd with 215.5. The Indians had four individual champions on the day. Braxon Rynearson was champion at 138 lbs. Brice Chaplin was champion at 175 lbs. Max Denson was champion at 190 and Cal Wells was champion at 215. Broken Bow had three runner up finishes which included Chauncey Watson at 120 lbs., Tallen Harrold at 144, and William Moninger at 150. Other area highlights included Brody Jensen of Burwell winning the 106 lb. championship. Burwell’s Austin Mayfield was runner at 138. Cale Buss of Burwell was runner up at 190 and Hagen Hodges of Burwell was runner up at 215. Zeb Wilde of Sandhills/Thedford was runner up at 285. Arcadia/Loup City and Ansley/Litchfield also competed at the meet. Top finisher for ALC was Christopher Allen who placed third at 106 lbs. The top finisher for A/L was Owen Hartman who placed 5th at 132 lbs.
