Broken Bow Wrestling Team Prepares for Triangular with Gothenburg and Valentine

The Broken Bow wrestling team returns to the mat tomorrow when they travel to Gothenburg for duals with the Swedes and Valentine. The highlight dual will be Broken Bow against Valentine. The Badgers are ranked #1 in the latest Class C team rankings put out by NEWrestle.com while the Indians are ranked #2. It is also a rematch of last year’s Class C championship match at the State Wrestling Duals which was won by Broken Bow.

Tomorrow night’s triangular begins with the Gothenburg / Valentine Dual at 5pm followed by the Broken Bow / Valentine Dual and concluding with the Broken Bow / Gothenburg Dual. Central Nebraska Sport’s Source will provide live radio play by play coverage of Broken Bow’s duals with Valentine and Gothenburg. Coverage can be heard on KCNI 96.3 FM, the free KCNI Pure Country App, and kcni1280.com and will begin with the Broken Bow / Valentine dual which is scheduled for 6pm.

Broken Bow head wrestling coach Ed Schaaf sat down this week to visit with KCNI/KBBN Sports Director Brent Apperson about last week’s success and tomorrow’s duals.
