Broken Bow Wins SWC Boys Golf Championship

The Broken Bow boys golf team claimed the Southwest Conference Boys Golf Championship for the 2nd year in a row. The meet was held on Broken Bow’s home course at the Broken Bow Country Club. The Indians shot their lowest team score of the year so far with a 320. Valentine was runner-up with a 345 and Cozad was third with a 362. Bow was led by Josh Harvey who was the individual champion with a low round of 4 over par 76. Harvey shot a 38 on both the front and back nine. All six golfers who participated for Broken Bow finished in the top ten. Jared Kahnk tied for the 2nd best round of the day with an 80 and finished 3rd. Spencer Gaffney was 4th with an 81, Morgan McMeen was 5th with an 83, Griffin Wright placed 6th with an 84, and Cole Ulmer placed 9th with an 86.
