Broken Bow Wins Ord Wrestling Invitational

The Broken Bow wrestling team claimed the team title at the Ord Invitational on Friday.  Broken Bow won the team title with 278 points.  Battle Creek was second with 189.5 points.  The Indians had 4 individual champions on the day.   Among them, Chauncey Watson at 106 lbs., Cyrus Wells and 132 lbs., Connor Wells at 138 lbs., and Sawyer Bumgarner was champion at 285 lbs.  Among the other area highlights, Chase Stieb of Arcadia/Loup City faced Zander Schweitzer of Broken Bow for the title at 170 lbs.  Stieb won by fall.  Kolby Larson of Burwell met Max Denson of Broken Bow for the title at 182.  Larson won by a 3-2 decision.  Reece Zutavern of Sandhills/Thedford remained undefeated on the season by winning the championship at 195 lbs.
