Broken Bow Wins at Chadron

The Broken Bow Indians improved to 2-2 on the season with a 28-8 win over Chadron on Friday night. Bow built a 21-0 lead at halftime scoring on touchdown runs by Cole Ulmer (22 yds.), Frazier Kaelin (8 yds.) and Zach Hackel (2 yds.) In the 2nd half, Chadron marched 67 yards and scored on their opening drive of the half to make the score 21-8. Bow would respond later in the half when Grayson Garey hooked up with Josh Harvey on a 23 yard touchdown pass to put the Indians up by 20 and help seal the win. The Bow defense came up with big plays throughout the game including a fumble recovery, an interception by Patrick Powers and a blocked punt by Griffin Wright. The Indians are now 2-2 on the season and will host Valentine next Friday at Mark Russell Field.
