Broken Bow Volleyball Places 4th at Lexington Invite

The Broken Bow volleyball team went 1-2 at the Lexington Invite on Saturday. Bow defeated Chase County in the opening round in straight sets 25-14, 25-13. Kya Scott had 10 kills in the victory. Bow would then meet the host team Lexington in the semifinals. Lexington advanced to the championship by knocking off the Lady Indians in straight sets 25-21, 25-17. Kya Scott once again led in the kills department with 8 and Kali Staples had 4 in the match. In the third place consolation match, Hastings edged Broken Bow 2 sets to 1 25-21, 20-25, 25-18. Kali Staples had a team high 10 kills in the match and Emma Schall had 9.  St. Paul defeated Lexington in the championship match in straight sets 25-14, 25-10
