Broken Bow Travels to Gothenburg for a District Showdown with the Swedes

Another chapter in the Broken Bow / Gothenburg football rivalry will be written tonight. The Indians will travel to Gothenburg for a C1-7 district tilt with the Swedes. Both teams won their opening district game of the season last week as Broken Bow defeated Valentine 7-0 and Gothenburg defeated O’Neill 40-14. Bow is 3-2 overall while Gothenburg is 4-1. Tonight’s game will be broadcast live on KCNI 1280 AM / 96.3 FM, kcni1280.com, and on the free KCNI Pure Country App. Kickoff is scheduled for 7pm. High School football coverage begins on KCNI with the Custer Federal State Bank Friday Night Lights pregame show following the 6pm news and weather. KCNI Sports Director Brent Apperson visited with Broken Bow head coach Mike Garner earlier this week about last week’s win against Valentine and tonight’s matchup with Gothenburg.
