Broken Bow Spirit Softball Teams Pick up Wins Over Gibbon

Broken Bow Spirit – White stole the lead late and defeated Gibbon 7-6 on Wednesday. The game was tied at five with Broken Bow Spirit – White batting in the bottom of the fourth when Victoria Coleman singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Broken Bow Spirit – White earned the victory despite allowing Gibbon to score four runs in the first inning. Sam, Des, and Jalyssa powered the big inning with RBIs.

Gibbon got things moving in the first inning, when Sam doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs.
Karina Kitt earned the win for Broken Bow Spirit – White. She allowed three hits and two runs over four and a third innings, striking out five.

Des took the loss for Gibbon. She surrendered six runs on eight hits over three and a third innings, striking out three.

Broken Bow Spirit 14U Grabs Lead In Second Inning To Defeat Gibbon

Broken Bow Spirit 14U snagged a late lead and defeated Gibbon 21-2 on Wednesday. The game was tied at one with Broken Bow Spirit 14U batting in the top of the second when Kylee Racicky singled on a 2-2 count, scoring three runs.

Broken Bow Spirit 14U secured the victory thanks to 18 runs in the second inning. Mya Weverka, Racicky, Lila Bloomer, Caidyn Flenniken, Kellsey Harrold, and Kennedy Garcia each drove in runs during the inning.

Broken Bow Spirit 14U pulled away for good with 18 runs in the second inning. In the second Weverka singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Bloomer doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, Flenniken drew a walk, scoring one run, Harrold singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs, Garcia singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs, Kaylee Petersen doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, Joscelyn Coleman singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run, Kassidy Cyboron singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run, Racicky singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, Hannah Barker tripled on a 2-0 count, scoring three runs, and Chesea Royle singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.

Garcia led the Broken Bow Spirit 14U to victory on the rubber. She lasted three innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out two.

#3 took the loss for Gibbon. She went three innings, allowing 21 runs on 18 hits and striking out three.
