The Broken Bow American Legion Seniors baseball team claimed its first win of the season last night (6/7) as they split a doubleheader with Overton at Paul Brown Field. Bow picked up its first win of the season in game one of the twin bill with a 9-1 victory in 5 innings. Broken Bow took control of the game early with a 6 run 2nd inning. Tyler Jensen got credit for the win by pitching 2 scoreless innings but had to be relieved after taking a line drive off his leg. Clay Brandon came in and pitched 3 innings giving up just one run to secure the victory. Sam Peterson helped lead the way offensively going 2-3 with 2 RBI. In game two, it was Overton who jumped out early to a 6-0 lead and they would hold on for an 11-5 victory.
