Broken Bow senior Cyrus Wells officially signed Thursday (3/24) to join the Chadron State wrestling program. Wells had a very accomplished high school wrestling career. Wells was a four time state qualifier and a three time state medalist. Wells was the Class D state runner-up at 120 lbs. as a sophomore in 2020, was third in Class B at 126 lbs. as a junior in 2021, and was the Class B state champion at 132 lbs. this year as a senior. Wells shared what drew him to the Chadron State program.
Wells talked about the high quality competition he faced across the state of Nebraska during his high school career and how that helped prepare him for the next level.
