Broken Bow senior Lathan Duda announced via twitter his commitment to join the North Dakota State Wrestling program following high school. Duda has enjoyed a stellar high school wrestling career. Duda is a three time state medalist including a runner up finish at 170 lbs. as a sophomore and won the title at 182 lbs. last season as a junior with a perfect 54-0 record. Duda said in his statement on twitter,
“First I would like to thank God for blessing me (with) the ability to be able to wrestle at the next level. I want to thank all my supporters, friends, family, and my coaches. I want to thank my parents for making me the man I am today. I want to thank coach (Ed) Schaaf and my teammates for pushing me far and beyond my limits and making me the athlete I am today. This is truly a blessing by God himself. I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at North Dakota State University!! Go Bison!!”
