The Broken Bow football team returns home this week to meet the Chadron Cardinals. The Indians are 1-2 on the season following a 53-38 loss on the road last week to top ten ranked Ogallala. Chadron enters with a 2-1 record. The Cardinals suffered their first loss of the season last Friday falling to Valentine at home 27-12. As Bow prepares for their matchup tonight, coach Mike Garner told KCNI/KBBN sports that one of the focal points of practice this week has been an emphasis on tackling better.
As this year’s young Broken Bow team continues to improve this season, coach Garner agreed that the players understanding of the game continues to develop in large part due to the amount of film study individuals put in each week.
