Broken Bow went 2-1 and placed third at the Lexington volleyball invitational on Saturday. Bow opened the tournament with a straight set win over Hastings high 25-13, 25-23. Broken Bow then fell to top five ranked St. Paul in the semifinals 16-25, 20-25 but then bounced back to win the third place match over Chase County in straight sets 25-13, 31-29. Majesta Valasek led Bow with 16 kills in the third place match and Kailyn Scott finished with 22 assists. St. Paul won the tournament defeating North Platte St. Pat’s in the championship match 25-18, 25-12.
