Broken Bow Legion Teams Drop Doubleheader to Ogallala

The Broken Bow Juniors team suffered its first loss of the season Friday night to Ogallala. Bow hung with a very good Ogallala team for the first couple of innings trailing 7-6 after two innings but would not be able to score again. Ogallala would take control of the game in the third when they scored 6 runs and would go on to win by a final of 16-6.

Ogallala completed the doubleheader sweep by winning the Seniors game 9-0. Ogallala pitching kept the Bow bats at bay as Broken Bow collected just 3 hits on the night. Coy Johnson had two of the three hits going 2 for 3 on the night. Sam Peterson had the other hit going 1 for 2.

Next up for Broken Bow will be a Juniors and Seniors doubleheader against Imperial on Wednesday night at Paul Brown Field. The Seniors game will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and on the web at kbbn.com
