The Broken Bow girls basketball team saw its season come to an end Friday night as the Lady Indians fell to Lincoln Christian 41-36 in the C1-5 district final at Northwest High School in Grand Island. Broken Bow went toe to toe with the top ten ranked Crusaders but came up just short in their bid to make the girls state tournament. Bow trailed by just one at the half. The Crusaders were able to extend the lead to as much as 9 in the second half and then held on down the stretch for the victory. Kali Staples led the way for Bow with a team high 12 points. Majesta Valasek and Kailyn Scott each scored 6, Madison Neely and Kassidy Cyboron each scored 5, and Kya Scott finished with 2 points. Broken Bow concludes the season at 20-6
