The Broken Bow high school boys and girls bowling teams each finished 5th at districts at the Big Apple in Kearney on Sunday. The teams will end their season at the state tournament next Sunday at Westside Lanes in Grand Island. High scores for the girls team on Sunday were turned by Lizzy Nielsen (206), Erin Clay (159), and Lanita Young bowled her personal best (156). High scores for the boys were turned in by Shay Herman (233) and Sawyer Bumgarner (219).
