Broken Bow Girls Golf Wins GICC Invite

The Broken Bow girls golf team faced stiff competition Thursday at the GICC Invite held at Indianhead golf course in Grand Island but still came home with the first place trophy.  Broken Bow claimed the team title for the first time in school history during their time competing at the meet.  Bow finished with a team score of 410 which was one shot better than GICC. Broken Bow had two players finish in the top ten individually.  Madison Jackson finished 5th with a 91 and Emery Custer was 6th with a 92.  Graycee Oeltjen shot a 113 and Camryn Johnson finished with a 114. Broken Bow also won the JV tournament with all five JV golfers finishing in the top ten.  Lainey Palmer was 2nd, Kennedy Garcia 3rd, Taylor Schaaf 5th, KateLynn Dickau 7th, and Taylar Coleman was 9th. Bow will host their annual girls golf invite on Tuesday at the Broken Bow Country Club.
