Broken Bow Girls Golf Team Places 2nd at GICC Invite

The Broken Bow girls golf team had another solid showing Thursday as they finished as the runner-up at the GICC Invitational played at Indianhead Golf Course in Grand Island. Bow finished with a team total 403 just 4 shots behind champion GICC and one shot better than Kearney Catholic which finished 3rd. Haylee O’Dey of Adams Central shot the low round of the day with a 7 over par 79. Kailey Johnson and Madison Jackson led the way for Broken Bow as each shot an 89 for the 18 hole event and finished 3rd and 4th on the day. Mahala Sanchez shot a 112, Hailey Meyers a 113, and Graycee Oeltjen carded a 117 to round out the Broken Bow varsity scoring. Broken Bow will play at the Ravenna triangular on Tuesday at host the Bow Invite on Thursday.
