The Broken Bow girls golf team finished third at the Southwest Conference Championships played at Ainsworth Thursday. Ogallala was the team champion with a 375, Cozad finished runner-up with a 381, and the Lady Indians came in third shooting a team total 391. Kailey Johnson led the way for Broken Bow. Johnson placed 4th with a team low 88. Madison Jackson placed 7th with a 92.
Hailey Myers shot a 105, Avery Campbell a 106, Graycee Oeltjen and Mahala Sanchez each shot a 112 to round out the Broken Bow scoring. Harley Hiltibrand of Ogallala was the Southwest Conference champion with a low round of 78. Broken Bow now prepares for the C-4 district meet to be played at the Cozad Country Club on Monday.
