The Broken Bow girls basketball team will compete for their fourth straight Southwest Conference Tournament Championship on Saturday. Bow advanced to the title game with a 41-25 victory over Gothenburg in the semifinals. Broken Bow jumped out early holding Gothenburg scoreless in the first quarter to build a 14-0 advantage. The Bow lead hovered around that mark for the remainder of the game. The Lady Indians were led by Kali Staples who finished with a game high 13 points. Broken Bow will face Ainsworth in the girls championship game. Ainsworth outscored Ogallala 22-5 in the fourth quarter to come back and win 49-40. The two teams met earlier in the season with Broken Bow winning 62-48. Saturday’s championship game is scheduled to tip off at 4:30 Saturday at Kearney High School.
