Broken Bow Football Prepares for Cozad

The Broken Bow football team will look to put together back to back wins for the first time this season when they travel to Cozad to meet the Haymakers on Friday.  The Indians are coming off a 38-14 win over Holdrege last week where they put up some of their best offensive numbers of the season with 457 total yards and 449 rushing yards.  Head coach Carlie Wells told KCNI/KBBN Sports that he was very pleased with the offensive execution last week.

Coach Wells said that he feels the team is growing in confidence and has been pleased with the energy that has been brought to the practice field this week

The Indians will face the Cozad Haymakers on Friday.  The Haymakers are top ten ranked in Class C1 by the Omaha World Herald.  Cozad is 6-1 this season with their only loss coming in week 4 against Adams Central.  Friday’s game will be broadcast live on KCNI 1280 AM / 96.3 FM and on the web at kcni1280.com.
