The Broken Bow boys golf team traveled to North Platte Friday for an invitational at Iron Eagle Golf Course. North Platte finished first and second in the team race with its Blue Team winning the tournament with a team total 317 and its Gold Team was second with a 338. Sidney was third with a 349 followed by McCook in fourth with a 351 and Broken Bow finished 5th with a 367. Kyle Zimbelman of North Platte had the individual low round of the day with an 18 hole total 75. Spencer Gaffney led the way for Broken Bow finishing 8th with an 84. The rest of the Broken Bow scoring included: Jared Kahnk – 91 ; Josh Harvey – 93 ; Cole Ulmer – 99 ; and Griffin Wright – 103. Also participating were Cozad and Gothenburg. Cozad finished with a team total 394. Adam Cole had the low round for the Haymakers with an 88. Gothenburg finished with a team total 439 and were led by Jake Scherer who shot a team low 94.
